On June 26, Shanghai Ocean University celebrated the conclusion of its fourth Shanghai Summer School RCEP Marine Culture International Program.

This year's summer school brought together 34 students from nine countries, offering them an immersive experience in cutting-edge marine engineering topics. The program featured engaging outdoor excursions that significantly enhanced the participants' understanding of marine engineering. Students underwent simulated crew training aboard the Wu Song vessel and engaged in hands-on marine biology activities. At the Chongming Island research base for marine studies, they gained a comprehensive understanding of aquaculture processes. Additionally, a visit to the China Maritime Museum offered profound insights into the development of China’s maritime culture.
