On July 9, the 2024 "Belt & Road" Countries Advanced Seminar for Textile Industry International Cooperation commenced at Donghua University's Yan'an Road campus. This year's program welcomed 20 participants from nine countries, including Serbia, Iran, Vietnam and Bangladesh.

During the opening ceremony, Liu Yanping, vice dean of Donghua University's International Cultural Exchange School, warmly welcomed the international students and industry professionals. Professor Wang Hua from the Textile School reflected on the successes of previous programs and expressed his hopes for the seamless execution of this year's program.

Following the ceremony, participants got the opportunity to visit the Shanghai Museum of Textile and Costumes. Over the ensuing three weeks, they will enhance their professional expertise and immerse themselves in traditional Chinese culture through a series of professional lectures, field trips, and Chinese language and culture classes.
