Zhou Yifan, a representative of Chinese students from the Russian Department of ECNU, welcomed the friends from afar, inviting them to experience the charms of traditional Chinese culture and the vibrancy of the international metropolis.

She expressed her hope that the exchange would harness the strength of young people to contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

To celebrate the program's opening, the East China Normal University Student Art Troupe presented the guests with performances featuring traditional Chinese musical instruments and solo singing. International students also performed violin pieces and sang Chinese songs.
