The program also included cultural excursions to Shanghai and Suzhou in Jiangsu province. At the Shanghai Tower, students enjoyed panoramic views of the city's skyline. In the Xintiandi area, they explored the Shikumen buildings that retained the charm of Shanghai in the early 1900s.
In Suzhou, students were captivated by the elegance of its classical gardens. At the Suzhou Museum, they encountered rich exhibits that narrated the stories of Jiangnan (south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River) culture.
