Sanda University summer camps: Blending language, culture, innovation
July 4 to 24 - Nineteen international students from Russia's Far Eastern Federal University, Korea's Kookmin University and Canada's Douglas College attended the International Chinese Summer Camp at Shanghai Sanda University – located on Jinhai Road, in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai.
The program offered a rich mix of Chinese cultural and language courses – immersing students in the unique charms of Shanghai.

Throughout the camp, the students mastered complex Mandarin grammar through situational simulations and interactive games.
Moreover, the inclusion of Shanghainese dialect lessons enabled them to learn the city's melodic patois.
Excursions to favored landmarks like the Bund, the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Wukang Mansion and more enabled them to enrich their understanding of the urban development of Shanghai.

July 14 to 28 - Eighteen students from Pei Ying Mandarin School in Paris, joined the Shanghai Sanda University International Chinese Summer Camp. They enjoyed a two-week journey filled with cultural and technological marvels.
During the event, the students studied Chinese and experienced Chinese culture firsthand. In particular, they explored history and cultural heritage preservation at the Shanghai Museum and in the Shanghai Library.
In Jiading district, they immersed themselves in discovering the architectural aesthetics of the place’s ancient towns.

For everyone, the highlight of their journey was exploring the automotive industry at various car companies and the Shanghai Auto Museum.
There, they had the opportunity to ride autonomous minibuses and they experienced the latest advancements in self-driving technology and new energy vehicle applications.
