Donghua University BR-TIIC program review
The 2024 Belt and Road Countries Advanced Seminar for Textile Industry International Cooperation Program, hosted by Donghua University in Shanghai, recently concluded.
The three-week program brought together participants with diverse educational backgrounds and work experiences.
They engaged in a rigorous schedule of academic lectures, cultural experiences and company visits – in the process gaining invaluable insights into the various sectors of the textiles industry, including textiles technology, apparel fabrics, textiles materials and more.
Cultural experiences

Company visits
In the Oriental International Enterprise Ltd, participants learned about the integration of AI technology in knitwear designs and production.
In the Shanghai Sinotex Eco Co Ltd, participants gained insights into sustainable fabric development and international certifications, as well as the company's commitment to organic dyeing and environmental protection.
In the Shuixing Home Textile Stock Co Ltd and Donglong Textile Group, participants explored the companies' dedication to R&D in functional textiles fabrics.
In the Zhejiang Gaohe Wool Textile Co Ltd, the advanced production lines, which have reduced labor usage and achieved zero waste, impressed participants and showcased the company's efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development.

Sales manager in the textiles industry:
