Global minds converge at ECNU's GEC International Summer School

The Global Education Center (GEC) of East China Normal University successfully hosted the 2024 GEC International Summer School from June 17 to Aug 25. Outstanding students from around the globe gathered to delve into the fascinating world of academia.

Over two months, the summer school featured distinguished professors from top-tier universities such as McGill, Cambridge, and Durham. They offered over 40 diverse courses spanning disciplines including psychology, data structures and algorithms, probability theory, and advanced business statistics.

Outside of classroom learning, students exercised in the gym and on the sports fields, enjoying a vibrant campus life that extended beyond their academic pursuits.

Additionally, students visited the renowned game company Electronic Arts (EA). By learning about the design and development processes of well-known Ips at EA, they gained deep insights into the gaming industry. Engaging with veteran developers, they drew valuable lessons and explored the potential applications of their academic studies in the gaming sector.
