Non-Chinese citizens with good physical and mental health

Age: 18 or above

Education background: High school graduates or equivalent

Able to afford necessary expenditures

No criminal record

02 Program details

Application deadline: Jan 8, 2025

Program duration: From mid-February, 2025 to early July, 2025 (16 weeks)

Level of classes: Beginner and intermediate

(1) Students will be divided into classes of different levels based on placement test results.

(2) Those who have HSK 4 Certificate (or above) will be placed in the intermediate level class.

03 Fees

(1) Application fee: 400 yuan ($55.25)

(2) Tuition fee: 8,000 yuan/per semester

(3) Accommodation fee: 4,800 yuan/per semester

Notes：

The number of available dorms is limited, and not all applicants will be accommodated on campus.

(4) Insurance: 400 yuan/per semester

International students are required to purchase the insurance on their own covering the period of their study in China. (5) Refunds

Application fee: Non-refundable

Tuition refund: 75 percent refund if dropping out within the first two weeks; 50 percent refund if dropping out in the third week; No refund from the fourth week onwards.

(6) Transactions

a) Applicants' passport numbers must be included on the payment receipts uploaded to the application system.

b) Applicants who are already in China must go through a domestic transaction.

05 Materials needed

(1) Passport & visa

A clear photo of the passport page, including name, photo, date of birth, place of birth, passport date of issue, and expiration date. Passport should be valid for at least six months.

If you have been to China or are currently in China, submit all current and past visa pages.

Before registration, the university will not process any T-visas or residence permits.

(2) High school diploma (or equivalent, such as IB, A Level, etc.) and transcripts of all grades (semesters) of high school

The original diploma and transcripts must be stamped by the school or signed by the relevant authority. When submitting a transcript, it is recommended to attach a description of the performance evaluation criteria.

Those who are about to graduate can submit a pre-graduation certificate and transcripts obtained so far. After obtaining a formal high school diploma and final transcripts, submit them to Shanghai Dianji University in a timely manner.

Students are required to provide the above original documents for verification when they register at the beginning of the first semester.

(3) Resume

Written in the teaching language of the applied program, including personal information, contact information, educational background (starting from senior high school), work or internship experience (if any), extracurricular activity participation, awards, hobbies, etc. Gaps between different experiences should not exceed three months.

(4) Police clearance certificate issued by local government or a character certificate by the school.

(5) Financial supporting materials (deposit certificate, bank account balance details, etc.)

(6) Other documents if applicable (other certificates, letters of recommendation, transfer letter, working certificate, etc.)
