Donghua University Business Chinese program enrollment guide (spring 2025)
To support the career development of individuals coming to China, Donghua University has introduced the Business Chinese program. This program aims to help students understand Chinese society and culture, master essential business knowledge, and ultimately become proficient in using Chinese for effective work and business communications.
01 Program overview
Highlights
Language and culture courses: Enhance Chinese proficiency, build business-specific vocabulary, and develop effective communication skills in a business context.
Business management courses: Deepen understanding of Chinese society and culture, familiarize with Chinese business etiquette, and improve competitiveness in the international job market.
Experienced faculty: Taught by professional instructors, ensuring high-quality education and support.
Practical activities: Participate in various hands-on activities to reinforce classroom learning and gain insights into the Chinese business environment.
* The program is suitable for international students with a certain level of Chinese proficiency (above HSK Level 4 or Donghua University's Comprehensive Chinese Program Level A4 or higher).

Courses
Language and Culture: Business Chinese (Upper/Lower), Listening and Speaking, HSK Level 5/6, Chinese Culture, Chinese Business Culture, Introduction to Business Literature, Business Chinese Writing, etc.
Business Management: Management Theory and Application, Introduction to E-Commerce, Etiquette, International Marketing, International Business, Brand Management, Logistics Management, Human Resource Management, Service Management, etc.
* On registration day, students can choose courses based on their Chinese proficiency and learning needs, ensuring a total of 15 to 16 credits per semester.
02 Program fees
Application fee: 600 yuan ($82.64)
Tuition: 11,000 yuan per semester (excluding textbook fees)
Insurance fee: 400 yuan per semester
* Returning students can enjoy a waiver of the application fee.

04 Additional information
Visa
The university will provide necessary documents for eligible applicants to apply for a study visa or residence permit.
Accommodation
Students can apply for on-campus accommodation, which will be arranged based on availability. Please stay updated with the latest official announcements and check for emails regularly.
Refund policy
Application fee: Non-refundable once paid.
Tuition: Full refund if withdrawal is requested before classes start. No refund after classes have begun.
Insurance
To ensure coverage during their study period in China, international students must purchase insurance. The designated international student insurance costs 400 yuan per semester.
Assessment
Students must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 2/3 for each course to be eligible for the final exam. Students who pass all assessments will receive a completion certificate.
