The Global Education Center of East China Normal University held an opening ceremony for its Chinese language programs, including the Intensive Chinese Program and Business Chinese Program, on Feb 21.

Former Students of the Chinese language programs delivered inspiring speeches, sharing their study experiences at ECNU. They encouraged the new students to embrace their new surroundings and pursue their dreams with determination and courage.

Program instructors introduced the faculty and explained the courses, rules, and regulations. Additionally, a lecture titled "Exploring Shanghai" offered students insight into Shanghai's rich history and culture, helping them amped up for their future studies and life in the city.

As the event concluded, students wrote down their hopes and expectations for the new semester in a "time capsule" to be opened by their future selves.
