1. Program highlights

• Experience the vibrancy of Shanghai while studying at a prestigious Chinese university
• Engage with a diverse cohort in small classes of 10 to 20 students from around the world

2. Program duration

July 7 to Aug 15, 2025 (six weeks), Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 11:45 am

3. Courses

• Comprehensive course: Learn vocabulary, grammar and character knowledge through listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises
• Speaking course: Enhance oral communication skills in Chinese
• Cultural experience: Explore Chinese culture through traditional crafts, museum visits, company tours, and city exploration
• One-on-one speaking tutoring (elective): Available by appointment, offering six slots per class per week. Students can engage in a 15-minute personalized session with a teacher focusing on recent class topics or cultural experiences
• Chinese character basics (elective): Learn about strokes, order, radicals, and meanings through writing exercises, dictation and games to boost character recognition and writing skills

4. Program fees

Application fee: 400 yuan ($55.18)

Tuition: 6,000 yuan (Includes textbooks and cultural activity fees)

On-campus accommodation (limited availability):

• Standard twin room: 160 to 200 yuan per person per day. Shared by two. Includes air conditioning, internet, and private bathroom.
• Economy twin room: 80 to 110 yuan per person per day. Shared by two. Includes air conditioning, internet, and private bathroom.
