1. Program overview

(1) Core courses focus on Chinese listening, speaking, and reading skills.

(2) Classes are held Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 11:50 am. Afternoon electives such as Chinese calligraphy, tai chi, and martial arts are available based on student interest.

(3) Weekly city tours.

2. Course dates

(1) The program offers three sessions in the summer 2025.

  • Application deadline: June 1, 2025.
  • The program runs from July 7 to Aug 29, 2025.

(2) Group applications are welcome, with flexible start dates negotiable with the office.

3. Eligibility

Applicants must be foreign nationals aged 16 to 60, in good health, with financial support and, if necessary, a legal guardian.

4. Application steps

(1) Fill out the online application form at http://apply.shisu.edu.cn.

(2) Pay the application fee of 450 yuan (or 75 US dollars via international transfer).

★ Submitted application documents cannot be withdrawn.

5. Tuition fees

  • Three weeks: 3,000 yuan (approximately $409.64)
  • Four weeks: 3,700 yuan
  • Five weeks: 4,350 yuan
  • Six weeks: 5,000 yuan
  • Seven weeks: 5,500 yuan
  • Eight weeks: 6,000 yuan

★Tuition covers the cost of textbooks. Please note that all fees are non-refundable once paid.
