Aichi Prefectural University students' cultural exchange at ECNU
On a vibrant spring day, students from Aichi Prefectural University in Japan arrived at East China Normal University for a short-term study experience. Here's a brief look at their journey.
1. Chinese language learning
At ECNU, students engaged in a series of well-designed courses and practical activities. Beyond standard Chinese language instruction, they participated in a unique medical Chinese course. This course not only introduced specialized vocabulary and expressions in the medical field but also explored the differences between Chinese and Japanese medical cultures and doctor-patient communication styles.
2. Sino-Japanese cultural exchange
ECNU hosted a cultural exchange event for the students. Through the event, Chinese and Japanese students deepened their understanding and appreciation of each other's cultures, forging strong and lasting friendships.

3. City sightseeing
Amid their busy academic schedule, students explored Shanghai's iconic landmarks, Yuyuan Garden and the Bund, witnessing the city's seamless fusion of Eastern and Western cultures.

4. Visit to Huashan Hospital
As one of China's top hospitals, Huashan Hospital has set a high standard in the medical sector, and the visit provided students with a firsthand understanding of the advancements in China's healthcare industry.
