Xiaofei: I believe that the relationship between roommates is like that of family, as we live and spend most of our time together. Treating roommates like family means being understanding and accommodating. It's important to explain and communicate when issues arise. What's more, it's essential to be mindful of our behavior and respect each other's feelings since everyone has different habits.
Yueting: Genuine communication can resolve many misunderstandings and problems. Besides communication, it's also crucial to respect each other's personal space, habits and thoughts. Additionally, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and we should learn from each other and be understanding and tolerant at the same time. Participating in activities of mutual interest can also enhance relationships.
Xiaofei: We have a lot in common. I find that we both share the experience of studying abroad alone for the first time, and we often encounter similar problems, so we solve them together. When we don't understand each other, we take caution on how to handle it, giving each other freedom and support. Thanks to SISU, I have found my best friend!
Yueting: I believe the secret to our strong friendship lies in mutual acceptance, respect and trust.
