Dragon-themed fashion showcased by SJQU student models

Inspired by unique reflections for the Year of the Dragon, students from the International Design School at Shanghai Jianqiao University, hailing from Russia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and China, infused diverse elements symbolizing auspiciousness into their designs and presented their works at the "Year of the Dragon" themed fashion show event held by the university and Jiudianshui Art Museum.

The theme of the show, the Chinese dragon, is the only one among the twelve zodiac animals that is a mythical creature. With diverse international perspectives, the students opened their minds to the Year of the Dragon and produced diverse and flourishing design works. Each designer, representing a variety of styles, interprets a profound understanding of traditional Chinese culture in their clothing.

The dragon patterns, color combinations, and tailoring of the clothing showcased the designers' insightful interpretations of the auspicious Year of the Dragon. The student models, through confident performances, brought the designers' creativity to life vividly and impressively.

The themed fashion show has delivered a unique and dazzling fashion feast, seamlessly integrating the fashion runway into the art museum space, and creating an immersive journey.
