SUFE and Yale choirs unite for musical extravaganza
The Yale Alley Cats, a world-famous a cappella choir from Yale University in the United States, invited the international student choir of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, or SUFE, to join them onstage as guest performers at the SUFE "Songs of Youth" concert on March 10.
The SUFE international choir comprises 45 students from 16 countries such as Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, and Brazil. Together, they delivered a cross-cultural musical extravaganza.

The concert offered the audience a visual and auditory feast and promoted the exchange of music and culture among choir members, sowing the seeds of international friendship.

Deng Lingqian, from the Netherlands, expressed, "I am honored to perform with the Yale Alley Cats. Every member of the Yale Alley Cats is enthusiastic and talented, and their singing infected every audience member. This experience has shown me the vitality of music and the importance of teamwork. It is the result of the regular rehearsals that has created such a harmonious and touching performance on stage. I am happy that I made friends from across the Atlantic, and I hope we will have the opportunity to collaborate again in the future!"
