Federico Sabatini, or Ma Hao, is an Italian international student in his third year of studying at Shanghai's East China University of Science and Technology. He loves movies, and has become a social media influencer dedicated to showcasing Chinese culture. 

This year was the first time that Ma Hao got to attend the Shanghai International Film Festival. To commemorate this event, he created a video series documenting his journey, including behind-the-scenes tours, film screenings, and crew meet-and-greets.

Produced by the Information Office of Shanghai Municipality, the Shanghai International Film Festival Center, and Wenhui Daily, the "A Date with Shanghai through Film & TV" video series is currently trending on. 

The series invites jurors of the 2024 SIFF, guests from the film industry, festival representatives, renowned directors, producers, foreign scholars, international students, and professionals in the field of film education to share their perspectives on Shanghai, showcasing the city's charm and vitality.
