Intl students conduct pioneering rural survey in Anhui province

A cohort of international students from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics conducted a rural survey in Yixiu district of Anqing city, Anhui province, from July 16 to 20.

The survey team conducted comprehensive investigations in Wuheng town and Luoling town, aiming to grasp the local strategies for rural vitalization, the development of characteristic economies, and the state of infrastructure construction. Through dialogues with village officials and household surveys, the team accumulated valuable insights and successfully fulfilled their objectives.

Anqing city, the birthplace of numerous historical figures, is a significant cradle of traditional Chinese culture. Throughout their survey, the students visited a multitude of renowned sites, where they gained appreciation for Anqing's substantial contributions to China in the realms of science, history, art, and talent cultivation.

A student from Malaysia noted that the visit to Anqing unveiled multifaceted elements of Chinese cities. Unlike the bustling metropolis of Shanghai, Anqing radiates a sense of simplicity, which allowed her to appreciate the accomplishments and future prospects of rural vitalization efforts even more deeply.
