The Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) welcomed a dynamic new cohort in early September. Over 370 international students from 76 countries and regions have journeyed to SUFE, bringing with them dreams and aspirations.

This year's orientation activities featured large numbers and an atmosphere of excitement. Compared to 2019, the number of enrolled degree students has risen by 12.32 percent, with graduate student enrollment surging by over 42 percent.

On registration day, international student volunteers warmly greeted the newcomers, providing comprehensive guidance through the registration process, maintaining order, and translating signs.

President Liu Yuanchun of SUFE made a special visit to the college to oversee the orientation activities and warmly welcomed the new international students. He encouraged them to bravely pursue their dreams in this new city and academic environment, embarking on a new chapter in their lives.
