Shanghai Business School cultural event highlights global charms

The Shanghai Business School hosted its inaugural international cultural exchange event on Oct 29, drawing over 800 students from China and abroad.

The event featured 12 international booths. Participants received a special "Shanghai Business Passport" at the entrance, which allowed them to collect stamps from each booth by completing specific tasks.

The cultural performances were a highlight, with students from around the world presenting captivating ethnic displays.

Mongolian students performed traditional dances, representing the passion and grandeur of the grasslands. Russian students showcased their culture's vigor and magnificence through dynamic dances with rapid spins and twirls.

Vietnamese and Indonesian students, along with their Chinese peers, recited poetry, immersing the audience in a sea of poetic expression.

The wonderful array of international handicrafts, specialty snacks, and traditional games exemplified the diverse cultural heritage and charms of different nations.

Mongolian students warmly invited teachers and peers to try out traditional nomadic archery games. Vietnamese students offered Ben Tre coconut candy and coffee, whose rich and sweet aroma attracted many to sample them.

Bangladeshi students displayed traditional attire such as the panjabi and lungi costumes. The event also featured Russian matryoshka dolls, Cambodian number writing, Laotian dart throwing, and Moroccan walnut crafts.
