A delegation of 12 students and faculty from Sewickley Academy, a private school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, visited the Shanghai Institute of Technology from March 14 to 17 for a cultural exchange program. During their stay, they explored Shanghai’s iconic landmarks and experienced traditional crafts.

At Shanghai Tower, they ascended to the city's highest point, 632 meters above ground. At Yanzi Academy in Fengxian district, they practiced the art of zhuanxiang (seal-script incense). They also had the chance to make gundeng (rolling lanterns) and fanggao (steamed square rice cakes), both recognized as part of Shanghai's intangible cultural heritage.
