Students from home and abroad experience Shanghai's auto culture
Some international and local students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University recently had the opportunity to participate in the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix event and Shanghai Auto Culture Festival, immersing themselves in the electrifying atmosphere of F1 firsthand.

The journey began at the Shanghai International Circuit, where the students visited the "T16 CLUB" seats. These seats are positioned near the starting line of the main straight, offering superb views of the F1 cars as they race in the final sector of the track, including a direct view of all the action at Turn 16.

Their next stop was the SAIC Volkswagen Anting Test Track, renowned as China's first passenger vehicle testing facility built to international standards. Here, they experienced the excitement of riding, navigating the high-speed loop and tackling various complex road conditions.
A highlight of the event was the vintage car tour at Shanghai Auto Museum. Through interactive activities, students got the chance to experience classic models like the Hongi, Cadillac DeVille Convertible, and Volga M21 firsthand, deepening their appreciation for vintage cars and automotive culture.

The event concluded with a visit to Dream Micro City, a captivating miniature theme park. Within this 1:87 scale miniature world, the students found themselves captivated by the sight of tiny vehicles journeying from Jiading district to Europe and traversing ancient stations beneath the Alps, all set to the evocative soundtrack of roaring diesel engines.
