Two officers from the Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau outlined key regulations for international students, focusing on temporary accommodation registration and visa requirements.

According to the Exit and Entry Administration Law of China, international students staying outside of hotels must register their accommodation within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in warnings or fines, the officers stressed.

Regarding future development prospects for international students, the officers highlighted Shanghai's latest policies on internships and employment for international youth talent.

The lecture also covered personal safety. Officers explained common telecom fraud tactics and identification techniques through real cases, reminding students to stay vigilant against suspicious calls and false information to guard against scams.

They also emphasized key aspects of road safety and clarified the legal liabilities for unlicensed driving and traffic violations.

During the anti-drug segment, they explained China's strict measures against drug-related crimes, using vivid cases to warn students to stay away from narcotics, respect the law, and protect their well-being.
