Benter Anyango from Kenya received the third prize for her study "Development Status and Trends of Global Rice-fish Farming Systems," supervised by Associate Professor Zhang Wenbo of the College of Fisheries and Life Science.

In June of this year, Benter Anyango was elected a student director of the World Aquaculture Society for a one-year term, reflecting global recognition of Shanghai Ocean University's strength in cultivating international talent in aquaculture education.

Since its inception in 2013, the "Experience China" initiative has remained committed to promoting academic and cultural exchanges between Chinese and international youth, offering international students an authentic, multidimensional, and dynamic view of China's development.

The forum broadened participants' academic horizons and served as a high-quality platform for international students in the Yangtze River Delta region.
