International students explore F1 circuit and Shanghai's urban charm
Ten international students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University visited the Shanghai International Circuit on March 10. The F1 Shanghai Auto Culture Festival exploration event offered them an immersive exploration of the city's intelligent automobile industry development and urban charm, integrating the excitement of the international race with Shanghai's modern dynamism.
Upon arrival, the students toured the core competition areas, including the main track and pit lane, and entered the VIP grandstand to experience the perspective of a top-tier racing firsthand.
They then visited Hunzhi Bookstore (Yuanxiang Lake Knowledge Pavilion), exploring Shanghai's cultural heritage and humanistic atmosphere through books and meals.
Next, the students visited an automobile-themed culture museum, appreciating iconic car models in the model exhibition hall.
In the afternoon, they visited Shanghai Intelligent Automotive Software Park, gaining insights into the historical evolution of the automobile and the cutting-edge development of intelligent connected vehicle technologies.
The final stop was SAIC IM Technology, where the students experienced self-driving technology firsthand and deepened their understanding of China's innovative achievements in new energy vehicles and intelligent mobility.
The visit not only allowed the students to learn about the behind-the-scenes stories of the F1 Chinese Grand Prix but also showcased Shanghai's cultural charm and technological strength as a leading international metropolis.
