The popular Chinese cartoon character Duckyo Friends recently opened its first nationwide 7th-anniversary pop-up store at Cloud Nine Shopping Mall in Changning district, Shanghai.

The store, which has a festive party theme, features many adorable photo spots and showcases a collection of limited edition and national debut products, attracting many fans of the character.

Known for its endearing appearance and humorous personality, Duckyo Friends has become a staple of online stickers over the past seven years.

Welcoming visitors at the store’s entrance is an eye-catching 5-meter inflatable art installation of the character wearing a birthday hat and holding a cake, creating a great visual spectacle.

With the store, the ambiance is awash in the character's signature yellow and white hues, fostering a sunny and cheerful atmosphere.

Every nook of the space is adorned with Duckyo Friends imagery, from the escalators to specially designed photo areas in the hallway.

The retail section offers a wide range of merchandise – including plush toys, blind boxes, keychains, pillows and various novelty items.

The store also features exclusive products, including two "7th Anniversary Special Limited" items and five "Pop-up Store Exclusive" products.

To enhance the experience, the store offers interactive activities and giveaways. A meet-and-greet with the Duckyo Friends mascots was held from July 19 to 26, and the character's creator, Liu Wenjia (or Liu Ayuan), hosted a signing event on July 27.
