Time-honored food brands return near Nanjing Road
Shanghai's Yunnan Road time-honored food street reopened on Feb 10 in a newly established cluster near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, bringing together more than a dozen long-standing local brands.

The revitalized area spans South Shanxi Road, Middle Fujian Road, and Middle Jiangxi Road, all within walking distance of Nanjing Road. Many of the city's best-known traditional eateries are once again concentrated in one area, making it easier for visitors to plan a classic Shanghai dining experience in the heart of the city.

For the Nanjing Road commercial area, the arrival of these time-honored brands broadens the dining landscape beyond retail-focused visits and introduces established local flavors to an area popular with young shoppers and international visitors. For the brands, the relocation offers greater visibility and consistent foot traffic in one of Shanghai's busiest commercial zones.
From now until Feb 15, the food street is hosting themed promotions and interactive activities to celebrate its reopening. Visitors can expect queues during peak meal times, particularly during the Spring Festival holiday.
