British-style bakery brand AMAM has opened its global flagship store, AMAM Lonbakery Town, in Xintiandi, Huangpu district.

Located on the ground floor of Xintiandi Style II on Madang Road, the store recreates the atmosphere of a vintage British market, featuring dark wooden display cabinets, warm lighting, exposed wooden beams, and carved doors.

The bakery offers more than 200 types of bread and pastries. It specializes in Bakewell tarts and country-style cakes, developed in collaboration with master bakers worldwide and crafted with high-quality butter and flour.

The offerings include freshly baked pretzels topped with savory minced beef, pistachio and berry cakes with cream and raspberry jam, and wheel-shaped choux pastries topped with hazelnut chocolate sauce. The selection also includes bagels, croissants, scones, donuts, cinnamon rolls, pound cakes, and Napoleons.

Between 3 and 4 pm each day, office workers from nearby buildings often line up at the counter. Some order iced Americanos with freshly baked scones, while others return for their favorite cinnamon rolls. For many, it has become a small daily ritual in Xintiandi.
