Shanghai-based snack brand Lyfen has opened its largest fresh food store to date at Global Harbor in Putuo district, offering freshly prepared snacks, baked goods, and beverages.

The store went into business on Sept 23 on the mall's B2 level, marking Lyfen's first outlet of this kind within the city's Inner Ring Road. Spanning more than 350 square meters, it features a spacious, minimalist interior, with large display freezers stocked with prepared meat dishes and shelves lined with same-day beverages and snacks.

The store offers around 170 products, many of which have a shelf life of just one to five days. Bread starts at 9.9 yuan ($1.48), while marinated meat snacks are priced between 10 and 20 yuan. It has already partnered with the time-honored Shanghai brand Lao Dah Vong & Co to offer freshly baked pork mooncakes.

Two other Lyfen stores in the same format opened that same day at Nanxiang Incity Mega and Hongqiao Qianwan Incity Mega.
