Shanghai's exhibition season is heating up before summer fully arrives. This June, the city will host a series of major trade fairs focusing on renewable energy, senior care, environmental protection, carbon neutrality, technology trade, packaging, and pharmaceuticals. Here are some highlights:

The 19th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition

When: June 3 to 5

Recognized as one of the most influential events in the global photovoltaic industry, SNEC PV & ES Expo 2026 will bring together more than 3,000 companies from around the world. Since its launch in 2007, the exhibition has grown from 15,000 square meters to more than 360,000 sq m in 2025, attracting participants from 95 countries and regions.

This year's expo will showcase the entire photovoltaic industry chain, including manufacturing equipment, materials, solar cells, photovoltaic modules, and photovoltaic application products.

International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare Shanghai 2026 (AID)

When: June 4 to 6

Founded in 2000, AID has grown into one of China's leading exhibitions for elderly care, rehabilitation, and healthcare services.

This year's expo will feature an international zone covering more than 1,500 sq m, with national pavilions from Japan, Australia, and Canada, as well as exhibitors from New Zealand, Denmark, and other countries.

The exhibition will cover age-friendly products, rehabilitation aids, smart elderly care, senior services, hearing health, financial services for seniors, home renovation, and dietary nutrition.

Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of products and services, including assistive devices, nutrition products, smart healthcare solutions, educational programs, senior tourism, musical instruments, and age-friendly home renovation services.

Visitors can explore immersive experience zones, including a music-themed area featuring food, beauty, wellness, and live performances. They can also experience exoskeleton-assisted walking and visit a model future senior living community.

WieTec 2026

When: June 9 to 11

WieTec 2026 focuses on two major themes: industrial energy conservation and environmental protection, and healthy living environments.

More than 3,500 environmental protection companies will participate, presenting technologies, products, and solutions in industrial manufacturing, municipal services, construction, agriculture, and residential applications. The exhibition will also include seven specialized shows covering water treatment, pumps and valves, green manufacturing, instrumentation, pipeline systems, heating and comfort systems, and senior wellness solutions.

Over 80 forums and conferences will be held alongside the exhibition, offering insights into industry trends and future development opportunities.

Shanghai International Carbon Neutrality Expo in Technologies, Products and Achievements

When: June 10 to 12

This year's expo will feature nearly 300 companies across a 40,000 sq m exhibition area.

The exhibition will focus on six key sectors: energy transition, low-carbon transportation, energy efficiency, circular economy, low-carbon services, and practical exploration.

The opening ceremony on June 10 will include keynote speeches and achievement releases, with experts, academicians, and business representatives discussing topics such as green investment and financing, new power systems, and technology-driven development.

China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair

When: June 11 to 13

Where: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, No 1099 Guozhan Road, Pudong New Area

The fair will cover 38,000 sq m and feature more than 1,000 exhibitors. For the first time, an international exhibition zone will present advanced technologies from 26 countries and regions. Lausanne in Switzerland, a group of Scottish cities in the United Kingdom, Dalian, and Nanjing will serve as guests of honor.

Exhibition areas will focus on digital technologies, green technologies, marine technologies, and consumer and health technologies, alongside an innovation and trading services zone. Nearly 100 supporting events, including conferences, project presentations, investment promotion sessions, and business matchmaking activities, will be held throughout the fair.

ProPak 2026

When: June 15 to 17

Where: National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), No 333 Songze Avenue, Qingpu district

ProPak 2026 will showcase packaging machinery, food processing equipment, filling technologies, robotics, and intelligent manufacturing solutions. It will serve industries including food, beverages, dairy products, daily chemical products, pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, and health-related products.

Together with concurrent exhibitions focused on food ingredients, nutrition, starch processing, and health ingredients, the combined event will occupy 200,000 sq m and feature more than 2,500 exhibitors from countries including Italy, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and Canada. More than 120,000 professional visitors are expected to attend.

CPHI & PMEC China 2026

When: June 16 to 18

With a history of more than 30 years, CPHI is one of the world's longest-running pharmaceutical industry events. Its global exhibitions connect pharmaceutical professionals across Europe, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

CPHI & PMEC China 2026 will present innovations across the entire pharmaceutical value chain, covering research and development, manufacturing, equipment, and supply chain solutions. More than 100 conferences and industry events will provide opportunities for collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing.

The exhibition is expected to reach 250,000 sq m and attract 3,600 exhibitors. Organizers expect more than 110,000 visits by pharmaceutical industry professionals from over 150 countries and regions.
