The Shanghai Pudong Library spans over 60,000 square meters and houses a collection of nearly 5 million printed books. Serving more than 700,000 registered readers, the library upholds the principles of equality, openness, and sharing, providing free access to books, information, and public cultural services to the community.

The Pudong Library features the "Shanghai Children's Literature Base" and the "Pudong Literature Center," specializing in collections of children's literature and local documents.

Annually, the library hosts a reading festival and organizes over 1,000 reading activities, continuously developing more than 20 branded projects, such as "Pudong Library Open Courses," and the "Lujiazui Book Club".
