Application materials

1. Application Form for Registration or Filing of Foreign (Regional) Enterprises Engaging in Production and Operational Activities in China (mandatory)

2. Approval documents from the competent authority and the introduction letter issued by the Chinese cooperative unit (non-mandatory)

3. For change of name: Proof of name change for foreign (regional) enterprises (non-mandatory)

4. For change of address or business premises: Relevant documents proving the lawful use of the changed address or business premises (non-mandatory)

5. For change of person in charge: Appointment and dismissal documents for the person in charge, a copy of the identity certificate of the new person in charge, and the new person in charge's resume (non-mandatory)

6. For change of business scope: New project contracts (non-mandatory)

7. For change of operating period: Foreign (regional) enterprises engaged in mineral resource exploration, development, and production in China that have entered the production phase must provide a confirmation letter of expenses for production and business activities (non-mandatory).

8. For change in the amount of capital: Capital verification report for foreign (regional) financial or insurance enterprises (non-mandatory)

9. For filing for the establishment of a branch: Copy of the branch's business license (non-mandatory)

10. For change registration: original and duplicate business licenses; for filing: a photocopy of the business license (mandatory)

11. A photocopy of the identity certificate of the individual handling the submission of the application materials (non-mandatory).

If the application materials are complete and in the legally required form, the registration authority will confirm the application and register the change on the spot, issue a registration notice, and promptly issue the new business license.

If registration cannot be completed on the spot, the registration authority shall issue the applicant a receipt for the application materials and review the materials within three working days.

For more complex cases, the review period may, with the approval of the head of the registration authority, be extended by an additional three working days, with written notification provided to the applicant.
