2. Application Process

Step 1: Submission

Counter staff will receive your application. If all materials meet the requirements, the application will be accepted for processing on the spot.

Step 2: Review and decision

If all requirements are met, the application will be approved and decided on the spot.

Step 3: Certificate issuance

Upon approval, the new registration certificate will be issued and delivered directly to you.

7. Common errors

Common error: Failing to publish a notice of the lost registration certificate in a newspaper.

Correct procedure: Before applying for a replacement certificate, you must publish a notice of the lost certificate in a newspaper at the municipal level or higher, declaring the original certificate void.

8. Important notes

Document format requirements

• All documents must be printed on A4 white paper.

• Signatures must be made in black or blue ink.

• Handwritten documents must be written neatly in black or blue ink.

• Original documents are required unless copies are explicitly permitted.

• Copies must be marked "consistent with the original" and signed by the applicant or authorized representative.

Handling of foreign-language documents

• Documents in foreign languages must be accompanied by a Chinese translation, stamped by the translation company.

• The translation must include a note stating "translation accurate".

• A copy of the translation company's business license must also be submitted.

Exemption from paper documents

• If the registration authority can verify identity information, tax clearance data, or electronic certificates through its online systems, paper documents are not required.

Identity verification

• Applicants must cooperate with the registration authority to complete real-name verification using facial recognition or other methods.

• If you are unable to complete online verification, you may submit a notarized identity document or appear in person with your original ID.

Document signing requirements

• Individuals: Must sign in person.

• Legal entities: Documents must be signed by the legal representative, the responsible person, or an authorized signatory. A company seal is required for domestic entities, but foreign entities are not required to affix one.

• Authorized signatures: Must be supported by an original power of attorney signed by the authorizing party.
