Filing and registration service for administrative mediation of patent disputes
The service allows individuals and organizations to apply for administrative mediation of patent disputes. No fee is charged for the service.
Scope of service
The service covers six major categories:
- Disputes over patent infringement.
- Disputes over the amount of compensation for patent infringement.
- Disputes over qualification as an inventor or designer.
- Disputes over rewards and remuneration for inventors or designers of service invention-creations.
- Disputes over the unpaid appropriate fee for the use of an invention after the publication of the patent application but before the grant of the patent right.
- Disputes over ownership of the right to apply for a patent and the patent right.
Applications can be submitted online, in person at the service windows, or by courier. Reservations and self-service terminals are not supported.
Each case may involve only one patent number and one respondent. Separate applications are required for cases involving multiple patent numbers or multiple respondents.
