First exhibits enter CIIE venue
The first batch of exhibits for the 8th China International Import Expo arrived on Oct 23 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the venue set to host the upcoming event.
During an arrival ceremony, six trucks transported the exhibits into the north square of the venue.
Booth construction and exhibition setup are expected to be largely completed by Nov 3, said Zheng Yusheng, general manager of the venue's operating company.
The initial exhibits are concentrated in three major exhibition zones, highlighting cutting-edge innovations and distinctive products from across the globe.
In the Medical Equipment & Health Care Products exhibition area, Siemens Healthineers has brought its MR-PET scanner, representing a new advancement in medical imaging technology.
The Intelligent Industry & Information Technology exhibition area features the AEON humanoid robot developed by Hexagon, which integrates precision manufacturing and sensing technologies to meet high-accuracy operational demands in industrial settings.
In the Food and Agricultural Products exhibition area, Joyvio has introduced its blueberries grown in the deserts of Peru, adding unique flavors to the global dining experience at CIIE.
This year's expo has attracted participation from more than 80 overseas exhibition organizations.
The Business Exhibition is composed of six areas, including the three mentioned above, along with a special Innovation Incubation section, bringing together the latest technological achievements and premium products from around the globe.
