The Shanghai Business School (SBS) is devoted to building a high-level application-oriented business school with distinctive characteristics.

It has created a comprehensive, multi-level educational framework, ranging from undergraduate to graduate education, and offering full-time education, adult education and international student education.

SBS has four campuses, namely Fengpu Campus, West Zhongshan Road Campus, Caobao Road Campus, and Guoquan Road Campus, and a teaching center on Fuzhou Road. 

SBS offers 32 undergraduate degrees, including national first-class undergraduate programs in business management, hotel management, e-commerce, and international economics and trade. ACBSP international certification has been granted to its business management, hotel management, e-commerce, and marketing programs.

SBS focuses on national and local strategic needs, as well as major industrial needs, and offers applied research and consulting services for businesses. It has established a training base for business officials and has trained more than 9,857 business officials from 148 countries and regions.

SBS's College of International Education is a functional department in charge of international student enrolment and management. It primarily focuses on teaching Chinese language and culture to overseas students.

Adhering to the principle of opening-up and strengthening international cooperation, SBS has carried out cooperation with 123 universities and research institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and other countries and regions, founded the "Belt and Road" International Business Education Alliance, established a high-end international think tank alliance, and established overseas education centers in Central and Eastern Europe.
