Shanghai Stock Exchange boosts Middle East ties

The Shanghai Stock Exchange has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Muscat Stock Exchange in Oman.

Under the agreement, the two exchanges will cooperate in areas such as market promotion, information sharing, and personnel exchanges.

The partnership is expected to further strengthen ties between the Shanghai Stock Exchange and leading exchanges in the Middle East, and promote broader capital market collaboration.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange highlighted the long-standing relationship between China and Oman and reaffirmed its commitment to working with the Muscat Stock Exchange to explore new opportunities, diversify cooperation with Middle Eastern exchanges, and deepen cross-market collaboration.
