The 2024 3rd Green Finance Forum was held on Nov 7 at the Banma Suhe International Convention Center in Putuo district as a sideline event of the 7th China International Import Expo.

Centered on the theme of financial support for green development, the forum gathered government officials, financial institutions, environmental groups, business leaders, and experts.

Through roundtable discussions, keynote speeches, and negotiations, participants delved into pathways to advance the integration of green finance and new quality productive forces.

The forum served as a bridge between government and businesses. A series of green development measures showcased Shanghai's dedication to promoting economic green and low-carbon transformation and establishing an international green financial hub.

During the event, the Putuo district government signed strategic cooperation agreements with the National Green Development Fund and Xiamen International Bank to boost Shanghai's economic and social development.

In addition, several significant initiatives were unveiled at the event, including green pioneer cases, a white paper on green finance, and green business partners.
