Two international brands open pop-ups in Jing'an
Two international brands have opened pop-ups in Shanghai's Jing'an district in early 2026. New York–based fashion label Khaite launched its store at Plaza 66, while Los Angeles–founded Malbon Golf has opened a location at Jing An Kerry Centre, ahead of its upcoming China debut.
Khaite's pop-up store presents selected pieces from its Resort 2026 collection. The space was created in collaboration with B1OCK, a multi-brand fashion boutique, and follows a design language developed for Khaite by architect Griffin Frazen.
Set apart from the surrounding shopping environment, the pop-up features a circular layout built with concrete and darkened steel. Curved display structures guide visitors through the space, while controlled lighting creates a calm, enclosed atmosphere.
The Resort 2026 collection focuses on fit and proportion, exploring how garments interact with the body through shifting silhouettes and volume. The color palette brings together soft and deep tones, including ruby red, misty pink, glacier blue, and midnight blue.
This pop-up follows Khaite's first store-in-store opening in China at Reel Mall in May last year, marking the brand's second physical presence in Jing'an.
- Open: 10 am to 10 pm, Jan 20 to March 3
- Where: Room 140, 1F, Plaza 66, No 1266 West Nanjing Road
Elsewhere in the district, another international brand is also making its appearance through a pop-up format.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, Malbon Golf is known for blending golf apparel with playful graphics and a casual, street-inspired aesthetic.
The pop-up introduces the brand's core products and visual style to local shoppers, offering an early preview ahead of the opening of its first China store.
According to the brand, Malbon Golf's China flagship is scheduled to open in March at Jing An Kerry Centre. The two-level store is expected to combine retail space with community-oriented elements.
