From instant cameras and the latest fashionwear to lifestyle products, discover four new stores in Shanghai's Xuhui district, each with its own distinctive concept.

Parlid

Chinese instant camera brand Parlid opened a two-story store in Xuhui district on Sept 28, occupying a 300-square-meter old villa. Its centerpiece is an open staircase displaying 200 instant cameras, including classic models, limited-edition releases, and collectible cameras.

The store combines camera retail with coffee, hands-on experiences, and customization services. Until Nov 15, it is also hosting a pop-up in collaboration with character brand YUY, with themed decorations throughout the villa.

Goodees

Lifestyle brand Goodees opened its first store in China on Sept 29, featuring an interior inspired by the comforts of home. Clothing, shoes, plush toys, and home accessories are displayed alongside wooden furniture, mosaic walls, and colorful mushroom sculptures.

Artist Pan Wangshu contributed to the interior design, adding playful details such as star-shaped lights and mushroom-inspired installations. A Shanghai-exclusive collection features polka-dot designs on plush toys, ballet flats, and bags, as well as star motifs and colorful patterns on clothing and everyday accessories.

Rosy DoeDian Drip

Womenswear brand Rosy DoeDian Drip opened its first flagship store on Anfu Road on Sept 29. The standout feature is a pair of oversized dachshund sculptures representing the brand's characters, Doe and Dian. One is black and tan, while the other is light brown. Both lounge on a bright pink sofa and wear silver sunglasses, with movable ears and tails adding a playful touch.

Images of Doe and Dian and interactive elements featuring the two characters appear throughout the store, alongside the fashion displays.

Semir Lab

Chinese fashion brand Semir opened Semir Lab, its first concept store worldwide, on Sept 30. Located in a renovated five-story villa on Wukang Road, the store has gardens at the front and back. Unlike regular Semir stores, it preserves the building's original layout and combines fashion with lifestyle experiences.

Different floors showcase clothing for work, exercise, and everyday wear. The store also offers coffee, home goods, and a pet-friendly environment.

Visitors can browse collections created in collaboration with British designer Marcus Clayton and Italian knitwear designer Maria Cristina Petrone. A dedicated area features designer toys and character merchandise. The store also offers limited-edition souvenirs inspired by its address, Wukang 368, and on-site customization through screen printing.
