Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport are committed to updating their services for inbound international travelers as up to 370 businesses and stores inside the airports support payment methods including foreign bank cards, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.

Together, the airports have 18 currency exchange points, seven financial services points, and 16 ATMs.

To help foreign travelers become more familiar with digital payments, service desks are set up in the airports to assist foreign visitors in linking their foreign bank cards with mobile payment APPs.

Also, a guide covering service information such as WiFi, SIM cards, foreign currency exchange, money transfers, and hotline numbers, is available to foreign travelers onsite.

Other services include multilingual service machines and information leaflets for inbound passengers in Chinese and English.
