The entrance of Guyi Garden has been decorated with colorful lantern landscapes based on China's 12 flower goddesses, and a huge dragon lantern.

Nearly 1,000 lanterns illuminate the 500 year-old garden, as part of the New Year's celebrations. Visitors are invited to experience a variety of cultural activities until Feb 25. Ticket for the garden during the holiday will remain at 12 yuan. Anyone dressed in traditional Chinese costumes with flower elements will be allowed to enter the park for free on the first day of Lunar New Year (Feb 10) and Lantern Festival (Feb 24).

There will be folk string music performances and lion and dragon dances during the Spring Festival holiday. There will also be traditional activities such as riddles and shadow plays. In addition, visitors can win prizes by taking photos of the dragons in the park.
