"The CIIE serves as a platform to showcase new quality productive forces, with the automotive and equipment manufacturing industries playing a pivotal role in their development. New energy, automobiles, information technology, artificial intelligence, high-end manufacturing, and industrial internet are foundational and leading industries that bolster the nation's economic and social advancement," said Wu. He highlighted the CIIE's significant focus on the exhibition planning for these industries, and noted the establishment of specialized zones for smart transport, artificial intelligence, and green and low-carbon initiatives within the Automobile and Intelligent Industry & Information Technology exhibition areas since the third CIIE.
According to Huang Feng, chairman of the Shanghai Foreign Investment Association, the CIIE is backed by China's vast market scale and has evolved into a crucial platform for foreign investment enterprises to showcase new products, technologies, and services, as well as to expand their opportunities in the Chinese market. "This year, a globally renowned automotive parts supplier from the United States will participate in the CIIE for the first time," revealed Huang.
