Alibaba-owned online e-commerce platform Tmall unveiled a range of official licensed products for the Paris Olympics on April 17, which marked the 100-day countdown to the opening of the global athletic competitions.
Items such as 38-centimeter-tall plush toy mascots, the Phryges, a figurine depicting the Phryges and the Eiffel Tower, and commemorative silver coins celebrating the Olympic Games have been introduced on the online marketplace.
The Phryges, as designated by the Paris Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, serve as the official mascots of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. These two anthropomorphic Phrygian caps symbolize France, embodying the values of freedom and inclusiveness.
In addition to this, the Olympic Qualifier Series 2024 Shanghai will be held from May 16 to 19, featuring events such as breaking, BMX freestyle, skateboarding, and sport climbing.
