Shanghai's parks welcomed 5.3 million visitors during the May Day holiday, marking an impressive 7.69 percent increase compared to 2023, reported the Shanghai Landscaping and City Appearance Administrative Bureau.

The peak tourist volume of the parks reached 1.43 million on May 2.

There's no better time to appreciate flowers, such as China rose, rhododendron, and wall iris than the May Day holiday as these flowers are in their prime. In addition, various parks organized themed activities to improve tourists' experiences during the festival.
