China Mobile's Shanghai branch announced the launch of its China Mobile Smart Computing Center on May 16, during a press conference held in Shanghai to mark the World Telecommunications Day.

The establishment of the center signifies Shanghai's advancing computing resources and intelligent applications. The center is set to introduce large models and advanced algorithms that will offer customers more intelligent and personalized services, thus serving as a vital computing engine for the digital economic development of Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region.

In a strategic move to bolster the digital ecosystem, the company also announced the establishment of a calculation industry alliance that spans chip manufacturers, software providers, server operators, and end-users, aiming to optimize the utilization of digital resources and unlock the industry's full potential. As part of its outreach efforts, the company has introduced exclusive one-month-free coupons for companies looking to explore calculation services.

The company also introduced a suite of new offerings at the conference, including four innovative service packages, six cutting-edge terminals, and seven AI+ products. These offerings encompass a diverse range of technologies, such as 5G-A network services, glasses-free 3D devices, and AI-powered applications, all of which have been designed to enhance user experience and drive technological adoption in the region.
