Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University announced on June 18 that its flagship program, the Master of Finance Program, was ranked eighth globally by the Financial Times Masters in Finance 2024 Ranking, a new pinnacle for the program.

Such a result also showed the school's status as a world-class finance education provider, said SAIF.

Established in 2011, the FT Masters in Finance Ranking is one of the most influential evaluations of its kind on a global scale. The SAIF MF Program has been ranked the first in Asia for three consecutive times.

This year's list of FT ranking included 65 business schools, which are evaluated across three dimensions: alumni career progress, school diversity, and international experience, research and carbon footprint.

According to the ranking, SAIF said its MF Program demonstrated comprehensive competitiveness and industry impact through performance in several crucial criteria, such as salary, which was ranked second globally, careers service, which was ranked third globally and first in Asia, and alumni network, which was ranked seventh globally.

Cheng Shijun, executive dean of SAIF, said the ranking was a testament to the institute's strategy of internationalization and its commitment to the goal of becoming a world-class institution of finance education, striving both for advancements in talent training and for excellence in academic and applied research.

SAIF said the MF program, which accepts applications internationally, has comprehensive collaborations with renowned international institutions, including Columbia University, the University of California at Berkeley, and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
