Ticket sales for the 2024 Rolex Shanghai Masters, the prestigious annual tennis tournament showcasing male professional players, officially began on July 22 at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in the Minghang district of East China’s Shanghai.

The event, to run from Sept 30 to Oct 13, promises to be a thrilling showcase of world-class tennis talent, featuring an expanded singles draw of 96 players this year.

One of the most eagerly awaited moments of the tournament will be the appearance of Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer, set to grace the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena on Oct 11 – drawing fans from around the globe to witness his skill and finesse on the court.

To kick off the ticket sales, a special promotion is offering customers purchasing A/B tickets for matches on Oct 8 to 10 a 60 percent discount during the initial three days of sales. Tickets can be conveniently purchased through Juss Sports' official app or the official WeChat and Alipay mini programs of Juss Sports, ensuring a seamless booking experience for tennis enthusiasts.

For those planning to attend the tournament, important guidelines have been issued regarding ticket purchases:

1. Electronic tickets will be implemented, with each ticket assigned to a specific individual. Children are required to purchase full-price tickets, while those under the age of three will not be permitted entry.

2. Each mobile phone number is limited to purchasing four tickets per game, with only one ticket allowed per ID. Purchasers must provide the real name of the attendee, a valid personal identification document and a valid mobile phone number during the ticket purchase process.

3. Tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-giftable once sold.

4. Tickets for the center court and show court 3 are being sold separately and cannot be interchanged. However, holders of center court and show court 3 tickets will have access to matches in show court 2 and the grand pass.

5. Qualifying matches on Sept 30 and Oct 1, as well as matches after Oct 9, will not be divided into day and night sessions.

In the event that ticket holders need to seek a refund, specific rules have been outlined:

1. Refunds can be requested by individuals who purchased tickets through the Juss Sports app or official WeChat and Alipay mini programs of Juss Sports, excluding tickets with a 60 percent discount. Refund requests must be submitted along with relevant information to the customer service of the original ticketing channel before Sept 28.

2. Refunds will incur a 10 percent processing fee deducted from the original payment price, with the remaining amount refunded within seven working days.

3. Refund requests will be accepted starting Sept 28, ensuring a streamlined process for ticket holders in need of assistance.
