To celebrate our furry companions, the Shanghai Bund Financial Center (BFC) has joined forces with Xiaohongshu, China's premier lifestyle, fashion, and beauty platform, to unveil a grand public art exhibition dedicated to man's best friend – dogs. As a highlight of the ongoing fourth Bund Art Season, the event is set to captivate visitors until Aug 25 in the cultural district around the Yuyuan Garden, where the BFC Fengjing Market thrives.

The creative genius of renowned artist and cartoonist, Tango, takes center stage as he presents a delightful array of images featuring internet-famous dogs in a large-scale art installation named "Best Friends". This artistic endeavor aims to construct a whimsical "BFC Happy Little Dogs Street", where the charm and companionship of these beloved animals are celebrated in a visually stunning manner.

Adding to the allure, the organizers have carefully selected images of over 20 cheerful little dogs through online submissions, curating a special exhibition that showcases the unique personalities of these pups. Concurrently, visitors can indulge in the captivating world of acclaimed photographic artist William Wegman at the Shanghai Fosun Art Center. Wegman's exhibition, which took over 35 years to create, captures dogs using large-format Polaroid cameras, promises a blend of artistry and humor.

Moreover, the Shanghai Fosun Art Center has embraced a dog-friendly approach by inviting audiences to bring their beloved pets to explore the venue at designated times. Adding a touch of technological wonder, a colossal augmented reality art installation by Tango, titled "Three-Faced Lucky Cats", has made a striking debut at the Golden Square of Yuyuan Garden.

As the art season unfolds, the BFC Night Market will play host to five vibrant art market events, uniting emerging artists and illustrators in a celebration of creativity. Attendees can look forward to engaging in interactive activities such as graffiti art collaborations and pop-up illustration classes, offering a gateway for art enthusiasts to embark on an inspiring artistic journey.
