Pujiang innovation forum focuses on tech, innovation
The 17th Pujiang Innovation Forum 2024 is set to be held at Shanghai's Zhangjiang Science Hall from Sept 7 to 10.
The event has as its overarching themes "Sharing Innovation and Shaping the Future" and "Towards an Open Environment for Scientific and Technological Innovation".
Under them, the forum aims to delve into strategies to advance open collaboration in technology, integrate technology into the global innovation network and actively engage in and lead global technology governance initiatives.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai local government, the forum is set to welcome over 300 experts and scholars from top international organizations, established universities, technology and research institutions and related industries.
Notably, overseas participants hailing from 40 countries and regions – including Hungary, the United States, Germany and Japan – will make up nearly 40 percent of the attendees.
The four-day event will feature a whole host of activities, including an opening ceremony and main forum, 24 sub-forums focusing on various specialized topics and two expos — the InnoMatch Expo and WeStart.
Additionally, attendees can look forward to engaging in numerous associated events such as Youth Hubs, an achievement release conference and an innovation competition.
